Dakwonju
Um I'm having my one hand attack speeds randomly increase to about 5 attacks per second, which is insanely fast. It usually starts happening when I block a lot, and I'm in an intense fight. After I kill him easily, i still attack super fast, but when I wait after an hour, it goes back to it's regular speed. Anybody know what this could be? I tried updating fnis, but it still doesn't work.
eleglas
@DakwonjuIf it is that regular, it actually sounds more like an active effect from a mod. Check your magic menu, and do any of your mods affect combat in anyway?
HugAMuffin
How to fix: -Go to Data\Meshes\actors\character\behaviors -Find any .hkx files. (Mine were 0_master.hkx and mt_behavior.hkx) -Either delete or rename them. (0_master01.hkx, mt_behavior01.hkx, etc.) The issue is not the actual animations themselves. The logic behind them is all donked up. Most animation mods that edit the animation behaviors aren't compatible with the patch. However, animation replacers that don't effect the behavior files should be fine. You might have to fiddle around with which .hkx file you get rid of/rename. Some might not be causing the issue. If this worked for you, please spread the word. This can be a really stressful glitch if you don't know whats wrong. imrebroce
I think there could be conflicts if you have Asis and duel combat realism. Definitely if you use ASIS improved AI, might be changing AVs of weapon speeds and such.
baboonman
[sOLVED] After a couple of nights pulling my hair out i managed to find the problem. I had the same thing happening to me with my 1 handed animations so what i done was, i went to my Skyrim folder - data - meshes - actors - characters - animations and deleted EVERYTHING that started with 1Hm. Then i went and downloaded a new set of animations from the Nexus. New Animation for 1 Handed Weapon by xp32 to be exact, once i installed the new animations and ran the GenerateFNIS programme my problem had gone, i believe this happens when you mix up different animations from different mods of the same type, for example 2 different 1h animation mods. If you play a female character you animations may be in Data - meshes - actors - characters - animations - female. You may now enjoy playing skyrim again. baboonman
Sorry i didn't explain more in my last post, i have been looking further into this but i'm pretty sure i have this sussed. it would seem the animation in the folder given from PCEA (player exclusive animations) are a tad unstable, even the latest version of this. so what i had to do was replace these animations in that folder. Found in Data - Meshes - Actors - character - animations - PCEA. Replace all of the animations in the 2 folders from ones of up to date animation mods, or simply turn off PCEA. This would explain NPC's multi-attacking but if your character (the player) is doing this with a 2h weapon for example. you have to delete all the 2h animations from the animations/animations female folders and replace them with up to date ones. Hope this helps guys, its a very frustrating and game breaking problem.
someshta
Another solution: If you are using Disparity and a custom race, assigning a class can cause extremely slow one hand weapon animations. Don't know why, since I don't care enough to investigate right now. Just don't assign a class (undoing class assignment also solves this, no need for a new game), since it isn't meant to work with custom races, anyway.
