Prospero101
Recently I've resorted to installing mods manually because for some reason FOMM absolutely refuses to manage New Vegas. At any rate, I recently installed the popular New Vegas Bounties I quest mod. Every character in and of itself is properly meshed and voiced and whatnot, so I know I got that part right. But, for some reason, only the unique weapons with new meshes/textures appear as that error white exclamation point. It is only the weapons, though. Everything else works perfectly. The exclamation points frustratingly break the immersion, but I don't know what I've done wrong. Any thoughts?
TheFourthHorse
- What version of the game are you running? - Where did you get your copy of New Vegas? - Are you using FOMM?
Prospero101
-I don't know. How can I find out? -I downloaded it from Steam. -I use FOMM for Fallout 3, but whenever I check the New Vegas option, it asks me if I want to make "Fallout.ini" editable (because apparently it's read-only) and no matter what option I choose, it promptly crashes. I found another mod manager elsewhere called New Vegas Mod Manager, but whenever I tried to upload the mod using the package manager, it told me the .rar file was either password-protected or wasn't a legitimate .rar. So, I had to resort to installing manually. It's worked well so far. This is the only mod I've had trouble with.
