Magic Overhaul Mods

I'd like to hear your recommendations for magic overhaul mods. I'm currently using mysty's Balanced Magic, but I'm looking for something with a bit more bite. Perhaps something that adds new spells that are interesting but still immersive and lore friendly. Ideally I'd like something that adds news spells not only for the player, but for npcs too, something that scales destruction spells with the player, removes enchanting restrictions, etc.

I suggest do a tag search for magic mods and find some that catch your interest. everyone prefers something different so suggestions could be something you dislike. trust yourself and find what you want.

I could just do a search but that wouldn't allow me to gauge other players experiences, which is partially what I'm after.

check the comment sections for each one that catches your eye. asking for suggestions is begging for fanboys to tell you how they love X mod. the comment section has both the good and the bad allowing you to decide if it is something you may want to use.

There are two different sorts of magic mods to consider, ones like Balanced magic that you are using and Better Magic focus on changing the magic perk trees and regeneration rates while things like Apocalypse and some others focus on adding new and inventive spells to the game.

I think you should get one of each. Im using Apocalypse and Better magic - they seem to gel well so far
