Adjusting Spell Speed

I'm working on a fire spell that snaps like Roy Mustang's fire snap from Fullmetal Alchemist, I got the spell to work perfectly so far except I can't figure out how to change the travel speed. Basically my spell is an altered version of the vanilla Fireball spell where the traveling fireball is invisible so it looks like you flick your wrist and a fireball appears at your target, but I can't figure out how to make it travel quicker to be instant like a rune spell. How do I do this?

I tried editing everything snd I still can't figure it out, please help me with this.

Have you tried customizing your projectile?

I would try to duplicate the fireball projectile and change the speed.. (there's usually a speed value on projectiles)

Or maybe use on your magic effect..?

Don't really know if that works, just try it out^^

I duplicated the Fireball spell, but I'm not sure how to duplicate the projectile.

I duplicated the Fireball spell, but I'm not sure how to duplicate the projectile.

Go to: Special Effect/Projectile and duplicate FireBallProjectile01.

You can edit it then.

To use the new projectile, head to your Magic Effect for the spell and select your projectile in the "Projectile" tab.

Change the spell from Aimed to Target Actor - should do the trick. It will no longer need a projectile of any kind then.

That's right

But that's only useful, if he wants no projectile effect at all...

You won't see any effect, the spell is cast immediately on the target.
