immortalfrieza
I'm not the first person to ask for this on these forums, nor is this the first time I've asked (it's been months.) I want to be able to wear robes over armor again like we could in Morrowind, pure and simple, including the hood if possible. As it is, robes are pretty much useless for the player to actually use at this point, they're just for NPCs and fasion, not actually useful. Whether the robes make things look like you're actually wearing armor or not isn't really important, though it helps if it does. thorgar595
Personally I would love to have this option. So many times have I died because of a rusty blade going straight through me, and then getting boiled alive in my armour when I respawn. :wallbash: I would love to make this, of all mods, but I just don't have the skill. I hope to the nine that someone picks it up soon.
wzpoarch12
The vanilla mage robes in most all RPGs are a let down. Dragon's Age is one of a few who bucked the trend and made sweet mage/acolyte apparel. A combination with Thalmor Robes/trenchcoat (enchantable) with armor underneath would be awesome. A battlemage is a combination of open robes and armor. Not a bathrobe and hoood, Right?
todiros
So you want to wear robes, but you want to have more armor? It can be made a mod, which adds a few craftable robes, but with armor rating. e.g. Novice Robes = Iron Cuirаss (25 / 30)Apprentice Robes = Steel Cuirass (31 / 35 )Adept Robes = Dwarven Cuirass (34 / 45)Expert Robes = Ebony Cuirass (43 / 38)Master Robes = Daedric Cuirass (49 / 50) You'll have a robes with armor ratings, and weight. The armor rating can be taken from the whole set, or only from the cuirass. Also, the weight can be removed, and the robes will still have armor rating, but it won't weight so much. Of course it will be a little OP. At least, this is the easiest way to be done.
