Mods show up in NMM but not in-game

Ideas:
1. Mod didn't install properly? Try uninstalling and reinstalling. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling, and then reinstalling manually.
2. Mod conflict. No ideas if this is the case, sorry.
3. The plugin isn't enabled? Check in the plugin section of NMM. (Top left corner, switch from mods to plugins.)

I'm no expert, so that's all I've got. Hope it helps.

Best of luck!

Apparently I am not the only one with the same problem,, with roughly the same date.

1. F4SE will not stay activated in NMM. I followed "gopher" tutorial on my initial game and it worked fine,,,,, until the game crashed. Un-installed all my mods, deleted FO4 and re-installed it on a different drive * gophers recommendation* tried to re-install F4SE but for some reason it did not "take". Carried out another complete re-install of game and F4SE, which still does not stay activated in NMM, I checked in game using the console command "get f4seversion" and it showed up as being installed. So I progressed and installed a couple of F4SE dependant mods, and they do not work, * Snap and Build*

2, What is currently not working is Manufacturing Extended, and Manufacturing Extended expanded, , Better manufacturing, Snap and build, Most of the body mods seem not to work, anything "vivid". Sandbag walls, and on and on. I have the manual install files, which I used at first through NMM, but then deleted them all and went and DL'd them from the mod pages using NMM. Still no love. I don't see a common thread as to why the mods are not working. It would be easy if I was one aspect like clothing not showing up, or something like that, but the list is varied and no single point of reference

3. All the mods show up in NMM as active and are all in the plugin windows as active as well, except F4SE.

I am new to PC gaming and modding, and I feel that I may have hand a major hand in this, even after watching tutorials, I haven't gone in an played in any of the files, as that scares the crap out of me so I tend to stay away from mods that give direction to edit ini files.

Game is the current version and F4 SE is 0,6,12.

Not too keen on completely rehashing everything again,,,,,,, but if that s what it takes so be it.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, so here is an update, yes I did a complete un-install of my game, This time I installed it on a clean drive, Installed F4SE.I migrated all the NMM folders with the mods into the new drive. I un-installed all the mods and went to the folder that contained them and deleted them from there AS WELLI went to the games data folder and deleted all empty folders that had anything to do with mods. I deleted all previous saves, just in case. ( sucks starting over again). Started the game and left the vault. Once out saved the game and installed 5 mods as a test. Carry weight works, I assume that Official patch and AWKCR works, Green commonwealth not working. MCM not working

GetF4SEversion in the console window says F4SE is installed with the latest version.

MCM and green commonwealth folders that are in the FO4 Data files are empty,, I used NMM to download and install the mods, and yes they are active in the plugin window.

MCM is deactivated after NMM is closed and re-opened, and I still get the vault loading screen when I use the F4SE launcher to launch the game.

Attached is my load order,,, not very intensive so far

I am Stumped hard on this.

  • 3 weeks later...

You certainly needed to get the custom.ini right. How is Green Commonwealth doing? It makes the place look a lot better, but it must be heavy on the processing and it has not been updated for a long time. I avoid general mods that aren't maintained. Also, for carryweight I just use the console command. (And I would not play without it. I hate having to keep fiddling with the inventory).
