dogwithrabiez
Right, so, I had voice problems with Soya's hair, German version, so I swapped it out for the English version. I downloaded it, removed/replaced the German .esp with the English .esp, and the meshes and textures as well. I went to activate it, and started the game... And to my dismay, the hairs weren't there. It seems Murphy's Law is catching me around the corner for everything I do today. :wallbash: Any ideas to why the hairs aren't showing up in the menu screen? WoogieMonster
What region is your game actually meant for? Does there appear to be any glitches related to the hair mod malfunctioning (bald heads, weird eyes, discolored skin)? Are you certain you placed everything correctly ? dogwithrabiez
Mine is the English version of Oblivion, and yes, I'm sure I replaced everything correctly. I made sure that every single file of the new one matched the locations of the old ones. No glitches, it's just missing altogether.
Deleted269910User
I used it myself and for me at least, it didn't work with custom races as default, if you can't get it to work normally, open up the CS and open a race esp(for custom races) or just plain oblivion esm, click "characters--->hair", then open up "characters-->race" to another window at the background. Start by creating new hairs in the hair selection, make them playable and add the soya textures as the finishing touch, give the hairstyle a name and then save it, after that, move over to the race menu, click the race you want to have the hairstyle/styles, open up "body data" tab, then drag and drop the custom hairstyle/styles to the "hair" slot in the menu. When you're all done, click ok on both hair & race tabs to close them, then save the esp file and see if it's working. REMEMBER to enable the hair as playable and enable for the male/female aswell depending on do you want just one, or both sexes to have the hairstyle available. If you forget either one of these, the hairstyle won't show up. Hopefully this'll work for you. :)
dogwithrabiez
It's not custom races, I'm using an Imperial. But, I'll try that... It seems complicated while I'm sleep derived tho. T_T Thanks for the help.
Deleted269910User
It's quite easy once you start it tbh, you'll notice. :) edit; here is a quickie image guide I made to try and make it seem simpler http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e23/aa77/quickie.jpg After you're done with those steps, just save the file and you're set to go.
