Deviance
I'm looking for the best list of enchantments i could use and the armor to use them on to make the ultimate set of armor for morrowind, money is not a problem and neither are souls (azura's star + summon golden saint works very well). I need the best list for damage, other atributes (such as chameleon and levitate) and also the best restoration/fortify abilities. Also can someone give me a clue as to where to find a chameleon spell, for some reason it is the one thing that eludes me.
Blackmage
Chamelon usually has diffrent names. I'm not as gosu as some of the other people here, but heres what I would personally do. I like to have my things make sense, so it may be useless to most. I'm not sure how many enchantments points the armor has, so play around and see what you like. Daedric armor, every last bit of it ^^ Helm - CE Night Eye Cuirass - CE Fortify Health and/or Restore HealthGreaves - CE Fortify Heavy Armor (Id ont even know where you can get that spell)Gloves - Unlock and/or TelekinisisPauldrens - Left, CE or Activated, whatever you prefer Chamelon. Right, CE Fortify StrengthBoots - CE water walking and/or Fortify speed Weapon - whatever you prefer. I'd say like, On strike weakness to magika and some sort of Damage over time spell. Thats just what I would do... you can tell I'm a roleplaer ;)
cmac
Daedric armor, every last bit of it ^^ Unoriginal and boring. At least make it something lesser than Daedric, like Indoril. Cuirass - CE Fortify Health and/or Restore HealthTo me, CF restore health is cheap and ruins role-playing. If it HAS to be Restore Health, at least make it CWU. Greaves - CE Fortify Heavy Armor (I don't even know where you can get that spell)If you're making this set in the CS, then you don't need to find it at all. My typical threshold for CE fortify skills/attributes is 5, but do what you will. Gloves - Unlock and/or TelekinisisName suggestions: Hand of Freedom, Hand of Clairavoyance. Pauldrens - Left, CE or Activated, whatever you prefer Chamelon. Right, CE Fortify StrengthShoulder of Hiding, Shoulder of Smiting Boots - CE water walking and/or Fortify speed Hydrophobic Boots (Maybe not) Weapon - whatever you prefer. I'd say like, On strike weakness to magika and some sort of Damage over time spell. Name suggestion: The Dusk Talon- Blind, Poison, Burden. A club or sword. Mr J
I only need bare minimum armour, I'v gone for the Nord style of weraing nothing but greaves enchanted with fortify speed (greaves of haste), boots of the apostle (those flying ones with a kick ass armour rating), an exquisite amulet with restore all atributes (intellgience, strength, speed etc to stop the effects of stupid bone*censored*ers), called "amulet of restoration" (not very original, but hey), an ebony tower shield with sanctuary 20 - 30 pnts cwu (Sanctus Shield) and last but not least "Armstrongs Fury", my Dwarven Axe with 26-50 Points frost damage when strikes. Oh yeah, a couple of rings with fortify strength and fortify agility. This combination makes my character excellent at blocking, that is if anything can hit me, and then when I strike, the enemy are doomed with my superior strength. But even though the above is not all armour, a great concept for armour would be: Shield with Reflect and Spell Absorbtion, as well as Shield, all CE (Shield of Elemental Fith Barrier?) Boots with fortify speed CE and levitate CWU. Strength rings are good for carrying stuff and wielding strength dependant weapons. BTW, does anyone know how to enchant a peice of armour with CE. I'v got a greater soul gem with the soul of a dremera lord (worth about 40000), but I can still only choose CWU. I want to make my Shield of Elemental Fith Barrier! Malchik
Most armour does not have enough points to take a constant enchantment. If you have the Helm of Tohan expansion that is pretty good. Otherwise you can get enchantments on the cuirass and boots but they are not very powerful. Daedric tower shield are good but it really the exquisite clothes that give the best effect. With gloves, shoes, pants, belt, shirt and robe there is quite a lot you can do and none of it is heavy. Wear it under (or in the case of the robe over) your enchanted armour. saldrex
One thing that i want to mention is that most CE effects and enchantments on armor that you make suck unlesss you do it to daedric and even then all the artifacts are 3 times as good due to the max enchant aloowed on an item. Also the abilities that were mentioned to be put on items before is impossible. Most would not work. ZYou could not to really any fortigication on the greeves since it can hold a max of 7 and maby would gget 1 point of enchantment and the pauldons can oly hold 6 or 7 which means only one piont for strengt and nothing for th e chamealeon since it costs way too much. Also the booots are not very good for the speed since tey can only get 5 points and is beter suited to have restore 1 health if you want it. You really need to look into the stats of an items before you try to put an enchantment on it that it cannot accept.
Blackmage
After a long night of trying soultrapping and enchanting attempts, I've realized that these guys are right =P Enchanting CE effects are really hard. My suggestion is, if you want some weightless armor, do this, you can try to get some exquisite clothes and enchant them with a CE Summon Armor =P I dunno how well it will work for armor, but the enchantment only cost me 15 points on a ring to summon a Mace. Pretty much, the whole enchanting thing is what you prefer. I don't think thereis a "best" of anything... If you talk to some people in game about "Enchanting", they'll describe to you how each House has their own prefrences for enchantments.
thanateros
Unless you have the NoGlow mod which takes off the hideous plastic wrap enchantment effect (but in fog or under water the item glows, which I think is really awsome, kinda like the One Ring in fire revealing the band marking). For me I just buy exsquisite clothing and enchant that, since the shirt and pants (in some cases) have a higher enchant value than armor. Personally I have pants, a shirt, a skirt, and a belt (pants and belt exquisite, shirt and skirt extravagant) that all have restore health CE on them. That adds up to 6 CE restore health, not bad for the items I wear under my armor. As for the armor itself I've never really been one to enchant my armor, I really don't see a reason to when I regenerate my health rather quickly. Shields though I like to enchant with high level summons or really long paralyze on target spells/ soultrap.
