Taryen
Hi! I am somewhat familiar with downloading mods and putting them in my game having been a big "THe Sims" fan. My question is I most of the mods I've downloaded from this site don't show up on my computer. Sometimes I'll get lucky and when I go to download a mod instead of getting the server screen it will go right to the "box that asks do you want to run, save, you know". Things I have downloaded from the bioware site download fine. I've gone to my internet options and added the Nexus site to the list of site to be exempt from security. When I download a file from here I get the Active X warning and I choose download file. But still nothing. Any hellp would be appreciated. THanks much!
Viperswhip
The download box loads a popup, so that might be a problem. I know because of some of my plugins I have to click a button to accept the download that shows up in the top right, I use Firefox presently because I am too lazy to switch to Chrome, but it may depend on the browser you are using. The nice thing about Chrome and Firefox is that you can see your downloads and right click on them to open the file location. If you are on a Mac, I have no ideas. On a PC, try a different browser if you are using Explorer.
Sync182
I use IE exlusively, and I find that the pop-up generated by the DL page doesn't allow the file to DL the first time (I refuse to disable Pop-Up Blocker). However, I then go back to the DL page, click the link again...and the dialog box appears for me to DL the file.
Thandal
You might want to change your Site Preferences for the way the download window is presented to use "Separate Page" instead of the default: http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/images/1678793-1339849178.png
Taryen
Thanks for the help. I figured out I had to go into my computer control panel and enable HTTP. Now I don't have any problems downloading from here. And may I say What a difference it is playing this game on PC. I may never go back to my PS3 again. I'm looking forward now to playing Awakening on PC. WIth all the great mods I found it's going to be like playing a whole different game.
