BronzeKitten
The current system of currency as well as vendors and merchants is, honestly, a fraction of what it should be. Rather than flat multiplication of the items stored value (the games current way of setting prices for shopkeepers), something similar to a Supply-and-Demand system for pricing would vastly improve the value of money (as well as make it stronger or weaker, depending on preference). For example, if I buy all the iron ore available with my character at every opportunity, this mod would increase the price of the ore until i stopped buying it, as well as including random fluctuations in price as well as quantity. The reverse would be that certain items that are never bought would slowly drop in price (with some sort of minimum value possibly, to avoid exploit (Perhaps this could be configurable)) until they start selling. A "bulk buy" option giving a discount for buying large quantities of an item could also be an idea (I'm not so sure on the feasibility of this one though). In addition to these (possible) features, some sort of inconsistency between shopkeepers (rather than every general goods merchant being more or less identical) would certainly add a missing element of realism in the game.
