kagstrom2100
I just started making a new vault for New Vegas. When I wanted to check it out in the game I added a door in the lucky 38 casino floor, but when I got into the game and got to the lucky 38s casino floor there was no door there. I have trying everything I can think of but can't figure out what the problem is :( Another thing I should mention is that after the first time I loaded the game after reinstating it the door was there, but after I restarted the game it was gone again. (I have checked the .esp file in the data options in the fallout menu. I have also tested to add a door close to Goodspring but that didn't work either) Thanx in advance. Solution: NV was at version 1.3 so I had to update it to 1.4 to be able to see the door Edited June 14, 2012 by kagstrom2100
TheFourthHorse
-Do have any mods? -Do you mean esp or esm? -Does your mod rely on any other mods?

Thanx for responding Edited June 13, 2012 by kagstrom2100
TheFourthHorse
That is weird... are you using one particular type of door? Also, is your NV up to date as well as the GECK? I would also try using a different character or new save... I doubt that's the issue but you never know  edit: btw you're not starting from a save IN the cell you modded right? TheFourthHorse
Oh, fantastic! Glad you worked it out. Sadly, I have done very little work with Nifscope or Blender. I'd encourage to post the problem anyway, however. Never know...
kagstrom2100
Oh, fantastic! Glad you worked it out. Sadly, I have done very little work with Nifscope or Blender. I'd encourage to post the problem anyway, however. Never know... So I made a custom texture for a vault gear door and I have attached all the textures in nifscope. The problem comes when i'm going to save it, then it says "link points to wrong block type" and points me to 408 NiParticleSystem. I'm still able to save but when I open it in GECK the program just crashes. So I have to solve this error to be able to use it.
TheFourthHorse
LOL you might as well have written that in Chinese... Well that is most certainly causing the crash. Whatever the hell that means, I guess it needs to be fixed :P
