54yeggan
Hi, I have an issue currently where pre-order weapons in my game are showing up as red exclamation marks. However, I can't seem to figure out which mod is causing it. I vaguely remember while messing around with console commands a command that, when entered would return the specific .esp files that modified whatever was selected (weapon, item, etc.) Does anyone know anything useful? I don't really want to reinstall my entire game just to fix this bug. I'd really like to figure out what's causing this, and yes, I have archive invalidation set up. Any help would be appreciated. dubiousintent
Please see the 'Solutions to Mesh (Red "!" icon) or Texture (solid color) problems' section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article. In particular you want the 'Issue: Find the source mod-index of an object in-game' entry to track down the source plugin, but you already know they come from a pre-order pack. Most likely you just need to toggle "ArchiveInvalidation" off-and-on again in your mod manager. If that isn't enough to resolve your problem, Please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as if you are using the FNV4GB Patch, NVSE and it's related plugins, texture replacements (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX. -Dubious-

I have searched this page that you linked me, but so far didn't find what I was looking for. I am referring to the console command which lists mods that change the selected item in-game. For example, if you typed this command and selected a weapon you dropped on the ground, it would return a list that would look something like this: FalloutNV.esm WeaponDamageandAccuracyMod.esp CoolWeaponMods.esp ObscureWeaponMod.esp Strange-Mod-that-shouldnt-break-anything-except-this-item.esp As for my load order and other relevant info, I am using NVSE and FNV4GB.
