BlockheadBrown
Are there any notable differences between Nvidia and AMD based cards? I can't say that I've seen any huge differences between the two for this game, but I thought I'd ask.

Viperswhip
I can say that my Nvidia 560 TI has performed super well in a heavily modded Origins, Skyrim, Witcher 2, Diablo 3 and Swotor. I built my new computer in October 2011 in preparation for the Witcher 2 and Swotor and have not been disappointed in the video card, though I have been disappointed by Skyrim, Diablo and Swotor lol. I only play at 1680x1050 though, which I consider to be the best gaming resolution for affordable cards. I have a 580 for my HD projector and it works great but I don't play too many games on it. Rennn
My GTX 460 768MB puts DAO on ultra easily. Without putting in SSAO through my drivers, it never goes below 60fps, which is where vsync caps it. I can also enforce quality SSAO and a large amount of driver antialiasing on ultra DAO settings without ever dropping below 45 fps in heated combat, and ambient occlusion is a performance killer most of the time. This is probably a little late, but you may want to go for Nvidia just because you can improve the visuals with SSAO with a decent card.
