Hello,

first:

i´m low in modding and my english is not the best and i´m sorry for that

 

 

second(and the main part):

i was inspired by endymion spring and the mod lorecraft and the stupid riddles in skyrim which could be solved by every drunken bandit made me sad.

i never saw something like a printing press in skyrim and books were everywhere, they should have been much more expensive and rare but it wold be stupid because nobody would buy them because you don´t need those information.

if somebody plans to make this mod, he would need to make riddles with (for example)dragonclaws much more difficult, so the player needs to research on books which could be rare and every cave could contain a secret if you have a good information source.

there could be different types of padlocks some mechanics which can be connected with ages so the research is easier.

mini quests in skyrim didn´t make me feel like "i must know what happened and i want to finish this", i did them because my quest list was too full, this would change with this mod i think.

the quests of the deadra were too easy too i just followed the quest mqrker and it wasnt interesting, with this mod it would be like this:

 

1. I heard a legend of a rare sword in the north of skyrim

2. visit the next collage or monastery and ask for authors or professors who took care of this legend. you have to pay or be part of the monastery(making copys of books as payment which wouldn´t be a problem because you want to read them any way)

3. you will have to ask more people on different places depending on the rareness of the book

4. you visit places where the sword possibly could be and try to find out how old this place is by wathing mechanics, symbols or other signs of culture

5. more researches with different sources

6. solve the riddle or find the right way to the treasure

 

every book could contain a new storry with new secrets to solve :dance:

it would be impossible to create this mod alone so plugins for custom weapons and those things are the best solution and this mod would make skyrim to an amazing game and much more lore(i really dont know the adjectiv for this word).

 

i didn´t take care of spelling very much, dont write to forums that often and wanted to stay serious so smileys are missing some times ;)
