cant see willow esp

Hi,

I've installed willow better companion mod. Instalation is ok in package manager, but I cant see esp in main nexus mod manager window. And I don't see her in game (no tent or no npc at her location).

Does anyone has any idea what is wrong?

check the installation path , to verify that you don't have an extra folder

compare this with other mods you have installed , to verify that it's installed correctly , as it's a clear case of an improper installation (otherwise NMM would have detected the plugin and you would have found it in your load order)

Thanks, it worked. In Data folder there were only text files from willow mod, so I had to copy rest myself.

Although now when I started willow's quest I met Kyle and his pal and they are frozen, doesn't move, doesn't react on anything. Even when I killed them I can't browse their inventory.

have you made sure to copy all files properly?

also have you installed this and started a new game , or tried it with an existing save? if it's the latter , try making a new character and see if it works now

if not , I suggest checking the bug reports and comments on the mod's page , and if you can't find an answer there (and if google doesn't help either) try asking in the comments , maybe someone familiar with the mod will be able to help you

Thanks. I checked and all files were copied correctly.

I tried the mod with existing game. Right now I don't want to start new one, coz it takes some time to reach willow from the start. Because of the mods I've been starting new game multiple times and I'm fed up with the beggining :)

I'll try willow forum with this problem. Thanks again.

 

I got some other errors, but I think I'll need to start new topic. Like I cant finish Ghost Town Gunfight quest - Sunny hides in saloon, gangsters wont attack unless I attack them. If I kill all of them quest wont finish.

If you are having other problems, then Willow may be a "victim" rather than the "cause" ... hampered by those. Be aware that one error may mask a number of other errors, which will not appear until those masking them have been resolved. Building a stable game consists of resolving each problem individually until none remain, and then realizing that every change you make thereafter (including updates to mods already installed) run the risk of introducing new problems. Be prepared to revert to a previous save if you do so.

 

As for taking some time to reach Willow, see the 'Testing' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article for some suggestions.

Please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as if you are using the FNV4GB Patch, NVSE and it's related plugins, texture replacements (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX.
