cdcooley Posted September 28, 2018 Share Posted September 28, 2018 It was fine for higher end systems, but troublesome for the lower end. And yes, the crosshair change event fires quite often. The update change time depends on the FPS since most function calls require one frame each. That code took about 0.1 seconds even on high end systems so the switch was visible but fast enough that it still felt somewhat responsive. Was that still done dynamically and if so what was the performance gain? (also: how did you determine what string you needed to manipulate?
