peterkeller
Hello, I've recently been trying to create my first mod. My idea is to put sleeves from the Fur Armor onto the Sons of Talos armor( Stormcloak officer armor) using Blender and NifSkope. My only problem is, i don't know how to get both the armor meshes into one NifSkope window. Again, this is going to be my first time trying to create a mod. I've derived much of what i know from deconstructing other mods. More specifically, Nif's from the mod, "Armor Compilation" by Omegared99. If you load his .Nifs into NifSkope, you see about 10 different armors all mashed into one spot, and from there its all a matter of texture transparency. How do i get two separate armor .Nifs into one window? Thanks! Here's an image of what I'm talking about. One is the base .Nif, the other is with the textures. jet4571
A mashup is what thats normally called. Its similar to the way to change the body inside the model to a new one. some copy and paste nitrishapes. except you are not replacing 1 with another just adding more to it. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Converting_an_armour_to_another_body_for_Skyrim You wouldn't include bones and the body NitTrishape from both nif's just the armor ones. then you use alpha channels on the textures to make what you dont want invisible. peterkeller
I got the two meshes into blender, then exported them into NifSkope again. they show up like i want, but pitch-black, without texture.
