Tallhat
Pretty simple request really. If any of you hardcore mod makers out there ever had the time I would love for you to make an Elven Skull resource. I always found it really strange that in the Ayleid ruins all around Cyrodiil I only ever came across human skulls. Id like for that to change but unfortunatly my modding skills are very limited. So I am asking here. On a more personal side note I would very much love this resource as it would enable my Dunmer PC to finally make a true Waiting Door for his family in his house. DogtoothCG
what is the difference between a human skull and an elven skull? there skull structure is almost exactly the same unless you edit them
BalorC23
The only differense is that elves have no facial hair and longer ears and hair(most of the time) but that has nothing to do with the skull
ihateregisteringeverywhere
You can rename the skull yourself in the CS, just download it from Beth. Fire up the CS, click file>data, double click on Oblivion.esm, press ok, wait until it loads. Go to items>misc item> Double click on skull01, Change the ID to something apropriate, for example skull02, and change the name to "Elven Skull". Click ok, then ok again. Save the plugin as.. for example elven skull.esp. Mark the Form ID of the new item so that you can give it to yourself in the game later. Once in the game open the console, tupe in player.additem XYZ, nXYZ being the form id, n being the amount of the skulls you want. You could add the skull to a few places/NPC inventories but that's probably too much work for you. If you want a different skull. For example elongnated a little bit... Then... you'll probably have to ask again in here for a mesh. You might get lucky and someone could do it for ya. Good luck witht the roleplaying effort, honoring thy ancestors is harder than it would seem, isn't it? ;D

ihateregisteringeverywhere
I know, you've mentioned that in the giant race thread.. Err, I realy can't help you there, the error sounds... like if I heard it somewhere but... I just don't know.
Tallhat
An elven skull would not be completely like a human skull. If you take a look at a lot of the elves ingame (and especially if you add TNR) you will notice that the faces and thereby the skulls of elves are typically longer and thinner than human skulls. So you cannot just rename it and pretend that it is an elven skull. Not in my world at least.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
I thought you'd say that. In that case all you need to do is wait and hope someone makes it for you. However you should've elaborated on this fact earlier, there'd be less confusion and someone like nekronom12 could've done it for you allready :P. Tallhat
he's right, i like helping people who are specific and realistic and i love crushing the dreams of those who are un-educated, illiterate, annoying, mean, or just plaing stupid And which of the above would I be? I made a simple request and elaborated further upon it when asked to. I see no reason for you to start implying that I am "un-educated, illiterate, annoying, mean, or just plaing stupid" since I have done nothing to deserve this. And to further clarify I did not think it necesarry to describe what exactly an elven skull should look like since I presume we have all played Oblivion and have actually seen how elves look and how they are very different in their facial structure from humans. But appearantly I do have to which is fine by me yet somehow this for some strange reason makes me the target of mockery and ridicule when all I did was clarify my thoughts on elven facial anatomy when asked to. And need I remind you good sir that you yourself where in fact the one asking me to clarify.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
He wasn't aiming that at you, it was a general anouncement of sorts. I'd go as far as calling it off topic. And as I've mentioned earlier - "I thought you'd say that". Noone can know for sure unless you tell him, therefore it is paramount to give all the necesary details to the modders that could potentialy take on your request,
