Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project

Hey guys, I have a small issue.

 

When I try to install HDRP with priority settings (due to the fact that I have other texture mods installed), I get the following error:

 

'Cannot open file for writing at: D:\Samsung 860 Evo Steam Library\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3\The Witcher 3\mods.settings'.

 

When I try to install the normal version, without the priority settings, it works fine, but when I check the extra box, it get this error. Is there a good way to fix this?

 

 

UPDATE: I found the 'mods.settings' file. I placed it in my Witcher 3 folder and edited it in Notepad to change the '0' next to 'priority' to a '1' and still got the same error. I skipped the file and ran the game and it ran as intended.... once. When I tried to run it again, a bunch of textures would go missing, there would be seams in the mesh, or the game just wouldn't start.

_{ISSUE SOLVED: I reinstalled my mods and unchecked the additional setting in the installer. It seemed to fix the bugs that I was having in game, as well as the installation.}
