Bairhanz
I got bored with more conventional play styles, so I decided to start up a new character who uses destruction spells in one hand and a shield in the other. Haven't quite decided if I want to use light armor or keep sticking with robes or not, but I had some questions on my stats. I personally don't like the idea alchemy/smithing/enchanting all my gear to have uber stuff, so the 100% spell reduction or max damage reduction isn't in my horizons for this play through. What's the minimum amount of magicka I should go with, as well as minimum stamina? I know I can reduce spell costs with perks, but I also want to have enough to carry through a large fight without chugging down potions. Same thing goes for stamina as shield bashing is rather stamina heavy. Rest of my points would go into health. Also, any advice on light armor vs robes? The pros and cons I see are:Robes (especially archmage's) have good bonuses and weigh little.Light Armor gives defense without having to worry about keeping a -skin spell up, plus it has the stamina boost and dodge perks.
