humpywolf Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 (edited) It should be a thing! Linux has lots of games now. Linux has lots of games with mods. Linux needs mod managers! Voice your want for it here, discuss, and best: contribute to the open source code for Vortex! :3 Link to the development forum where there is documentation and tutorials! Ecen Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I would definitely like to see Linux support! 1
sssSami Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Linux is slowly but surely becoming a real alternative to Windows. It got the drivers, the games, and I'm just waiting for things like Vortex before I give it a go.
Deleted2961844User Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 (edited) If I recall correctly, Vortex is built on electron and shouldn't use something dependent on the win32 API like USVFS (the virtual filesystem MO/2 uses), I see no reason this should be particularly difficult to port to linux and would like to see it on linux. Niarbeht Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I, too, would love to see a good mod organizer on Linux.
