SkebMick
Recently I have made a summonable horse spell in the Creation Kit and I plan to include it in the next update for my More Summonable Creatures mod. Everything works great in terms of being able to mount the horse, its speed etc. However, despite putting "DefaultStayAtCurrentLocation" and "PlayerHorseStayPut" in the AI package box, the thing follows me as if it's any normal conjured creature. I know what's causing it - the game is treating it like any normal conjured creature, and it seems to be ignoring or cancelling out the AI package box. The only thing I can think of is to add a script to the Actor and/or Magic Effect, whether it be to make the horse stay where it is or de-summon it when it is unmounted somehow. But the problem is, I have no experience with papyrus scripting whatsoever. If someone could run me through some way of scripting the horse to stay put or de-summoning it when it is unmounted, please do.Sorry if this is in the wrong section by the way, I was unsure whether to put the thread under Troubleshooting or not. Thanks in advance. Edited June 16, 2012 by SkebMick

SkebMick
kill it. thats what i do to get rid of summoned creatures I get tired of following me. In all honesty that probably would be the simplest and best way. I could give it low HP so it gets killed in one hit from anything.
jet4571
umm for a horse... you might want a little more HP so you get a chance to dismount to fight or atleast have a horse under you still using mounted combat. There are global variables for follow distance for followers, im sure theres probably one for summoned creatures as well. you can make a new variable for the horse and make it 2x to 3x the distance too. that way the horse doesn't try to stand right ontop of you annoyingly.
