BFG99
Sigh. I've spent sooo much time getting my reinstall of Oblivion just right...Ordenador, PyFFI, Wrye Bash, Boss, TES4Edit, TES4LodGen, BSAOpt, INI tweaks... So when I finally started playing it today, I was dismayed to run into a major problem. It's not possible to use the left mouse button at the same time I'm moving. I have to stand still for at least a second before I can attack. If I move again, I can't attack. Funny thing is, the RIGHT mouse button works just fine. I've tried everything I can think of to fix this:--Ran Oblivion totally vanilla (no mods, no OBSE, default INI settings)...the problem persisted.--Ran Oblivion in Windows Vista and XP compatibility modes.--Tweaked the backgroundMouse and backgroundKeyboard settings in the INI, like suggested in one thread.--Tweaked the mouse settings in Control Panel--Tried every suggestion I could find anywhere on Google I'm using:--Windows 10 Pro x64 with latest updates--DVD-based copy of Oblivion GOTY with all expansions (SI and DLC)--10 year old Asus laptop with touchpad + built in mouse buttons Any ideas? BFG99
Never mind; found the solution. The problem is with the new "click delay" feature in Windows 8.1 and above. This link explains how to resolve it: https://www.tenforums.com/general-support/31889-left-click-not-working-when-key-held-down-keyboard.html EDIT: This topic probably should be closed since it turned out to be unrelated to mods. I reported my findings in the general Oblivion Troubleshooting forum. Edited September 29, 2018 by BFG99
