Changing Textures.

First off I have looked threw the tut list and could not really find what I was looking for.

So here we go

I have a custom texture of iron body armor. I know how to make the folders to change ALL the iron body armor in the game but I want to change the texture of a single variation of the armor.

So I have made the texture in Photoshop and it is in a folder

Skyrim-Data-Texture-iron-m-

That changes all the iron male body armor to my custom texture. But I want to change just one. So I go into the CK find ArmorIronCuirass edit it so to change the ID to lets say AAAArmorIronCuirass (easy to find haha) Then I go into edit it again under male tab there is the World model I go into Edit that pops up a little 3D image of the armor. I click on alternative textures but can not find my custom texture.

Where am i going wrong?

I did find a topic a few months back that explains on how to do it but since have been unable to find it again!

I had a thought it was in the Texture pack tab but could not find it!

Thanks for any help!

sorry im kind of confused by your description, but the way to apply a retexture to a copy of the armor instead of all the armor, is to put all the "biped" and "go" nifs into nifscope and rename them their and change their texture paths to your new ones than go into the game and duplicate the item and change the mesh path to your new nifs which should be something along the lines of skyrim/data/meshes/armor/yourarmor/yourarmor.nif hope this helps
