Crash on save game?

Specs:

Nvidia Geforce 520 gt

pentium dual core 2.60 ghz processor

6 G's of RAM

 

Every time i attempt to manually save my game, or walk into building my game crashes, the only two environmental changing mods i have are fellout and fellout streetlights. Help?

sounds like a corrupted save file.

 

navigate to your saved games, normally documents/mygames/fallout3/saves

 

look for any file with the extension .tmp

 

if you have any files with the extension .tmp, delete it and ANY associated save files (ie: .fos, .fos.bak)

 

then download and install an autosave manager, such as CASM

Hello, this may sound stupid but 80% if the time it does work. Get a fatman and blow yourself up ( Doing this resets the cells and some other technical stuff). I read it somewhere years ago about it and it solved my CTD on save problem :smile:
