vortexhlp
I assume most here have played the Star Ocean series and are familiar with post-game adventures. One of the thing that is really appealing is an infinite tower of battles. Basically each level has stronger and stronger bad guys, starting from easy to #thereisnogod. Each certain amount of floors, say 15, there's a boss battle and after 50 floors the final, final boss can be fought. If you beat this boss you could continue to go up the tower and fight even stronger bad guys. (I don't remember how it really worked in SO) I don't know how skyrim really works, and maybe it's impossible to do this with its limitations, but it would be amazing if it were possible. I'd love to see this mod combined with a multiple companions mod <3 Oh, and in SO which might be a good idea is that every so many floors there's "santa" who could sell you rares and help you replenish your items. It is possible to leave the tower at any time. Good idea? Bad idea? ==================================================How it could work: - There could be a total of 10 different rooms (to start with)- Each room would be considered a level- Rooms don't have a limited to width or height, so in that regard it could be an open field or inside a castle- Each level, the bad guy's levels increase.- If there's no cap in stats, then it would be important to not have the bad guy's def be too high or else it would be impossible to kill- Every 15-levels there could be a boss.- Every 5-levels there could be a chance of meeting a merchant that sells rares / replenish items- Environmental obstacles would be a nice touch- There could be 60 levels- Each level you would have to press a switch to open a gate to the next level- On the 60th level, perhaps have an insanely hard boss (much, much harder than the final boss of the game)- 100 levels could be the top-tier before the very end?- A portal at every 5 floors could be made to return back to the beginning / entrance

crimsonrider16
My only issue with a mod like this would be how to make it lore friendly. I do love the idea but I'm just trying to think of how to fit it into the world. If anyone played Dark Cloud (PS2) and made it to the demon shaft at the end, I think you know what I'm talking about. Basically, after you beat the game, there was a super-large and very difficult end-game dungeon with 100 levels (much, much larger than any other in the game). It was great as it offered a new boss, new loot, and new enemy types; however, it had no story: it was just there. While I certainly support something like that in Skyrim, I'd hope to fit it into the lore somehow. A possible suggestion would be to go to Oblivion on a crusade to purge demons. This could effectively be an infinite level (or at least very large, depending) and could be fit into the lure. Additionally, a lot of the work in terms of set design is already done from Elder Scrolls IV. Just a thought.
