ariinya
Hey guys. I think I've made some mistakes with some mods, and I'd like to begin again, but I'm not sure how to do so without completely reinstalling. Is there a way to get rid of ALL my mods without having to reinstall? I have some NMM mods, and some others that I've installed manually. I'm not sure how to uninstall things from NMM. When I begin again, I'd like to use NMM for everything. How do you make mods work with NMM? Thanks so much guys!
eleglas
That depends, is it just a plugin problem you're having? If so, just delete the esp and esm files (NO NOT DELETE SKYRIM.ESM OR UPDATE.ESM) Anything more will require you deleting individual files. NMM has the option of letting you disable those mods, look for the button in the "Mods" tab. Most mods are compatible with NMM, you can download a mod directly from the site to NMM or you can add them manually.
ariinya
It's... sort of a mod problem. I just want to start over without completely uninstalling the game.
jet4571
If you dont use scripts in the CK... delete all esp files and .bsa files named the same. delete the meshes, textures, and scripts folders. Delete any .esm and .bsa named the same that is not skyrim.esm or update.esm.(do not delete all .bsa files, only the ones with the same name as the mod esp or esm.) Get down to it though... better to just reinstall fresh and make a backup of the clean install.
