nesket
Hey! I've created an npc, assigned him the merchant faction and my own faction. I then assigned a container to my own faction and added the relevant items to it. Only problem is, ingame, he simply says "you're not supposed to be in here" and you cannot talk to him. What have i done wrong?
scarycave
Does he have a package? He needs one that has "Offer services" checked. I just realized this the skyrim section. :wallbash: Edited June 17, 2012 by scarycave
nesket
I've given him the "defaultserviceseditorloc24x7" package - isn't that good enough?
scarycave
I don't have Skyrim, but if it uses packages as well...That seems like the lock up shop one. You need to give him another one. I think your merchants issue is that he only lives to close his shop their should be another package that has a run the shop until closing routine. David Brasher
In Skyrim, the trespassing dialog has a higher priority than the merchant dialog. You need to make it so you can talk to the merchant when you are not trespassing to eliminate that problem and find out if there is another one. You may be able to visit at a different time of day, change the AI packages to a non-locking package like scarycave suggested, or change the cell to be a public area by checking the box.
