Deleted30858665User
I downloaded the newest version of SKSE for SE yesterday after I realized Skyrim SE had been updated. Installed the newest version from the silver website, and when I use NMM to launch SKSE, the console opens for less than a second before disappearing, Windows plays a popup sound a second later, and Skyrim SE is running in Task Manager frozen at 49.0mb of memory usage. Algabar
Doublecheck if SKSE is installed correctly. You might also have to update mods depending on SKSE (Racemenu, AdditemMenu, SKSE fixes...). I'd always wait some days after an update, until mods depending on SKSE get updated, too. Or you simply don't update at all. Here's how to avoid "unwanted" updates:
wfandrews
Launch SSE from the Steam launcher to let your game update. 2.09 will only run on an updated SSE. Same thing happened to me, I run the game offline and launch from SKSE64 shortcut all the time. When I updated to 2.09 I could not launch from SKSE64. I then launched from the Steam launcher and Steam updated my game and I was good to go.
