Lividpileofdirt
Hello I'm trying to make an NPC wear a static item on their body but i'm having issues with it. I've tried adding it to the AA list, as well as replacing it over similar wearable headwear but the best i've done so far is spawning the item in with the NPC but it is at their feet rather than wearing it.Do I need another program in order to make this happen? Or is it just beyond the realms of the F4 creation kit? Thanks in advance
dikr
Try Bodyslide's Outfit Studio for that. Also you might need to change some of the flags and nodes on the mesh using nifskope for the game to recognize the mesh as a skinned object (?) or piece of armor, rather than a static item with collision. You probably need them both for it. Just saw this on the front page: Barrel Armor I would download that, look at the mesh in nifskope and it's structure for an example. EsmeraldaF
You might find this easy short tutorial by the creator of Outfit Studio helpful - it tells you how to transfer bones from an existing outfit to a new mesh: https://github.com/ousnius/BodySlide-and-Outfit-Studio/wiki/Copying-bone-weights
