EverChosen97
So I've been getting into skyrim modding finally, and have had next to no problems with the game about 30 hours in. But i am now having trouble after getting into Hjallmarch for the first time. I'm using the convenient horses mod, and so after I picked up Brenor as a companion in morthal I instructed him to go and buy a horse of his own. As soon as I picked that option and tried to get on my horse, tyhe infamous flying horse bug keeps occurring. Every time. It cant be coincidence that this is only happening immediately after that. So I stopped playing for the night and tried looking for around for a possible fix. nothing. went to bed. This morning I then tried using LOOT to adjust my LO and to clean any dirty plugins with SSEedit to see if that might help. NOPE. Now I just CTD to desktop immediately when I get on a horse or after about 20 after the loading screen finishes. Has anyone else had any issues like this? Thanks in advance LO: https://modwat.ch/u/EverChosen/plugins EDIT: So I've done some testing by loading a save just before I got benor to buy a horse and everything then works fine. At least I now know the cause, but I still don't know how to fix the issue :/ EDIT: It seems I've managed to fix the crashing by following a guide and cleaning all of the ITM's from my ESM's. I had hoped it it might've fixed the flying horses but alas it didn't. I did however try spawning in a horse using commands to see if that horse would work normally, and for about 5 secs it does. When riding, Its when the changes from convenient horses take affect on the horse for the first time (ie changing the saddle and allowing you to 'speak' with it and change various settings) that it starts to bug out. So I'm confident this mod is the culprit Edited October 7, 2018 by EverChosen97
Algabar
The obvious solution would be to uninstall "Convenient horses", but that's probably not what you want... Horses mods in connection with followers and follower frameworks are known to cause problems in Skyrim SE. Maybe go through the comments section of AFT and see, if users have found working combinations. You could also try a different follower framework like EFF and maybe also a different horses mod. Be careful though: NEVER change your follower framework during a playthrough. Or if you really think you have to, carefully follow the instructions for uninstalling your previous framework (usually this means dismissing all your followers and creating a "clean save"). EverChosen97
The download link on the mods page says that its unsafe to be uninstalled or disabled, so yeah I want to avoid that at all costs if possible
