bluntblade5 Posted October 7, 2018 Share Posted October 7, 2018 This wouldn't be so much a thing for the Thieves Guild or College (although it could work for the College too) as the Companions. Every mod that elongates the questline to make your ascent feel more plausible generally does so by adding solo Radiant Quests. And I was thinking that while that's a perfectly valid thing to use, there's something that could make you feel your own seniority within a faction, like a nervous voice behind you going "hello, I think Kodlak asked me to speak with you about a test..." Because if there's one thing that bugs me with any given faction in Skyrim (which the Thieves and Fighters Guilds in Oblivion avoided) it's that you stay the most recent member even as you leapfrog your fellows. I'd like to get the chance to welcome someone else into the fold and realise that whoah, I've come a long way since Vilkas was swinging and barking at me in the yard. Or since it was me that Athis was telling off for repeating inane questions.... Also, I'd appreciate the option to just grab any one Companion (maybe just Torval, Athis and Ria until you're in the Circle) and say "fancy being a Shield-Brother?" before you're Harbinger.
