freshiigod
I recently decided to redownload Skyrim and get some mods. I freshly installed the game (the classic version, not special edition), I downloaded NMM and set that all up, went to SKSE and downloaded the most recent version for the classic version of the game, moved the necesarry files in and then installed the scripts with NMM. When i went to start the skse_launcher.exe I was prompted with "please update to the latest version of the game". I verified game cache to make sure it was updated and even renamed the TESV.exe and verified game cache to reinstall the latest .exe file. I HIGHLY doubt im not running the latest version and every fix i've seen doesnt work. Anyone have any ideas?
freshiigod
solution: Appearently playing in different languages doesnt allow you to play the current version of the game. I was playing in Japanese as I study via immersion and games are a great source of immersion. Welp, no mods it is then
