BFG99
I'm curious if anyone's aware of utilities created for Skyrim that also work to enhance Oblivion. I already have a list of several utilities that I use regularly: Wrye Bash, TESxLODGen, TESxEdit, TESxLL, Ordenador, BSAOpt, PyFFI, etc. I'm also covered when it comes to mod management. But if there are any utilities for Skyrim that do things like optimize mesh/texture/sound, improve or recreate LOD, make Skyrim run more stably, etc. that are also compatible with Oblivion, I'd love to hear about them. Thanks in advance. (And yes, I have already done general searches on the Nexus. Just trying to figure out what I've missed.)
sattyre
Matortheeternal's smashed patch. If you don't already have it, get it.
BFG99
Interesting utility - thanks! - but I donât think I need it. The TES4 version of Wrye Bash handles most if not all record types, so I am surprised the TES5 version doesnât do much more than leveled lists. Still, maybe I should try it. Iâm more interested in the Mod Analyzer since it can find duplicate files in disparate BSAs. This is a major source of crashes in Oblivion since, unlike Skyrim, Oblivion doesnât know what to do when it finds the same file in more than one BSA - regardless of file date. Other suggestions?
