Okay, so it's a little late to say so, but everyone needs to chill out a little >.> Baldur, don't make your points be so bluntly worded. (For the sake of things, I'll show you how bluntly I could word things and show you just how rudely they can be taken.) Half of what you say when you complain and such is just plain rude and inconsiderate, and it makes you look like you're a jerk. You aren't a jerk, by any means, but when you say such rude things, people get angry at you. When people get angry, what happens? Arguments. What happens when everyone is arguing? The RP gets shut down. Also, the RP is dormant most of the time when Mike's online, so it's not like he can force himself out of REM sleep and hop out of bed at two in the morning to manage the RP I should be managing during the hours he's asleep anyway.

Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to say that people shouldn't stop posting altogether if they aren't sure on whether or not they should post. I think that about three posts while waiting on someone else isn't a crime. Just don't go overboard or anything. :P

Just because there have been a few complaints doesnt mean you should stop posting.

It would be fun to see someone else than me post in the rp for once, before it dies forgotten and lonely

Oh, this RP hasn't been posted in in days. It isn't moving fast at all any more. Unfortunately.

I'm just waiting for two more people to post, 'cause of tokyo's rule, unless I'm told I can post anyways.

Any chance of someone jumping in this late in the RP? I've been wanting to jump in to a Fallout RP for awhile now.

Name: Mark Granger (pronounced Grang-yer)

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Race: Caucasian

Karmic Alignment: Neutral (overall, depends on the situation)

Appearance: Mark stands around 6' and has dark brown hair that hangs down to his brow, he has piercing, bright blue eyes. He has a fairly sharp-edged face and high cheek bones. His shoulders are quite broad and he is very muscular but not in a rippling body-builder sense, rather he is lean but very well defined, he is much stronger than he looks just on account of his build. He has very large, powerful legs that lend to his excellent running both long distance and sprinting.

Clothing/armor: Mark wears dark colored, thick canvas cargo pants and a light blue V-neck T-shirt. Around the upper portion of his right arm is a thick kevlar band that he often uses to store a knife or smaller supplies. He has worn, fingerless, red leather gloves. Mark carries a hiking backpack that he found at an old outdoors store when he was about 14 and has worn it everywhere religiously, also while there he picked up a climbing harness which is rarely (if ever) off of him or not in his pack.

(Optional) Pet: none

Starting Weapon: Mark carries a two-foot long titanium crowbar that he found in a ruined hardware store when he was younger and it is his melee weapon of choice. He also has a three inch (the blade that is) spring-assisted knife with a black synthetic handle that he uses mainly for its utility rather than combat effectiveness though it could still punch a neat whole through a foe's temple if necessary.

Equipment (I'm just adding this in because these things don't make much sense elsewhere): Mark always carries about a hundred feet of nylon climbing rope, two locking caribeeners and an "8-ring" belay device as well as several other tools for climbing and repelling and setting up lines for just that. He also has a three quart (3 liter) water bladder with hose and mouthpiece within his pack that he uses for hydration (someone else mentioned a similar thing in their character sheet I noticed), he always has a magnesium and flint fire starter stick and compass, usually tucked away in his right arm band. In his pack he carries a water purification system called aquamira that uses drops of chemicals to purify water, it does nothing for radiation but it helps guard against bacteria and such that could cause a debilitating, and possibly lethal, infection. Mark's pack is supported by a fold-able sleeping pad, so that is almost always with him along with his sleeping bag. Another remnant of his military surplus outing is a few hundred yards of military grade parachute cording, he usually leaves most of it at his current base along with more of the climbing rope, about 250 feet, but keeps at least a hundred feet of it on his person at all times.

Skills/Occupation: Mark is a survivalist and a scavenger by trade, necessity and choice. He is excellent with survival skills such as fire building, hunting, tracking, trapping, knot tie-ing and he has become excellent at climbing and repelling, his hobby of tinkering with things has made him quite the demolitions expert and mechanic, he can dissect just about anything from a land mine to a door lock to a car (not that that would do a lot of good) as such he makes a lot of home brewed explosives to use for defense and traps and can get through just about any locked door in a matter of seconds but he is pretty bad with computers and his aim with a gun could use some work given how rarely he uses one, but if given the time to set up his shot he is deadly accurate, provided he can actually get his hands on a gun.

Personality: Mark enjoys being on his own and "roughing it." Having read old pre-war books on camping and survival skills his quirky personality has driven him to try and emulate them, improvising tents and campsites as his home base, learning knots, lashings and all manner of "woodslore" skills. His lifestyle is far from how nice it truly could be if he had the sense to go live in the city, his skill set would make him an excellent traveling companion or escort or even a raider but he prefers living in the heart of the DC ruins on his own, enjoying the romanticized vision of himself as a survivalist and modern day "mountain man" by surviving in the heart of the "wilderness" as such it's hard to try and get him to leave the ruins but he is a very helpful individual to any who come across him, but he usually remains unseen until he has some indication that whatever visitors might be on his doorstep are, in fact, friendly.

History/Background: Mark doesn't remember his family, in fact, he doesn't remember much of anything before he was ten. Somehow he knew how to read, how to use a knife and a vague notion of how to shoot. He has no idea where he was born or what his parents did or even where they are, he doesn't know if he has any siblings, if he ran away from home, if everyone died, if he got left somewhere, not a clue. He can't explain this "selective" amnesia, his leading theory is that something awful happened when he was 10 and he forced himself to forget everything before that. He scraped by on the outskirts of the DC ruins, but eventually found the Arlington Library where he found a plethora of pre-war books that were still intact, most of which recovered by the Brotherhood of Steel. It was then that he really learned about survival skills and that inspired him to expand his looting runs, finding supplies from camping and military surplus stores and building up a romantic image of himself as a kind of frontiersman. As he grew bolder and more experienced he ventured further into the DC ruins, evading the fearsome super mutants and their foul pets. He loved to climb everything and then he realized the perfect lifestyle. In the middle of the DC ruins stood a rather large old office building that was empty and hollow. He explored it quite thoroughly when the mutants weren't around and noticed that the third and fourth floors had been decimated somehow or another. There was no way further up. Mark was not to be deterred and began climbing up the piles of rubble and on the support beams, never even considering the fact that if he fell he would plummet a hundred feet to his death. Finally he arrived on the top floor, at least the top remaining floor, the seventeenth. When he finally got there he noticed that the ceiling to it was quite intact and the access to the roof was preserved along with some interior rooms. After he thoroughly scanned the floor and found no booby traps, evidence of prior occupants or super mutants, he made himself quite at home. There was even a kind of work bench in an old maintenance room and a generator. Mark made his camp, cleaning out all the garbage and rubble, making the place clean and tidy for himself and hiding his living quarters and protecting it from the elements. After a few days when his food and water supplies were a little low he set up a climbing line, anchored to one of the principle support beams of the building and he happily repelled down the nearly two-hundred foot tall building and began his new life scavenging in the middle of the ruins and living in the middle of the ruined DC skyline.

Let me know if I need to change anything.

EDIT: Removed the fire arm completely, he has no gun, no pistol, just a crowbar a knife and any explosives that he has found the components for (which to start is none).
