Ultamods Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Does anyone know how to install the normal map plugin outside for gimp outside of the program files because I'm running on a 64 bit and i don't know how thanks
RitualBlack Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 There should be a read-me included with the normal map plugin but essentially the normalmap.exe goes here:C:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins (normalmap) The libgtkglext-win32-1.0-0.dll, libgdkglext-win32-1.0-0.dll and glew32.dll go here:C:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0\bin (all three .dll files) Just because it is a 32 bit program doesn't mean you have to change things around to accommodate it. Also, the C:\Program Files (x86)\ may change depending on where you have gimp installed. I am just using that because that is the default install directory and where I have it installed.
