An awful warning - tread carefully with Vortex

What sort of documentation do you think Vortex is lacking? There is already documentation built into Vortex via the "Support" option on the left hand navigation panel. If you think there's something that's missing, please suggest it.

The built documentation needs to be more visible. Perhaps adding tool-tips would help?

But there are tool tips. I find it redundant though with huge letters saying "SUPPORT" in all caps on the left pane.

Maybe that's the point. I have had no issues with using Voretx. But the fact that I missed that, is sort of the point. Or perhaps some sort of first time on installation splash screen saying "RTFM!"

I think that I would call the "Support" section "Information" instead. I'd even go so far as making a tooltip that when moused over gives a brief description of the contents. Right now the tooltip is pointless as the text say "Support" and the tooltip says "Support".

As much as I like Vortex, I have to admit you got a point here: The option to rename mods and to assign them to categories would be a very welcome addition.

Doubleclick on the mod and a right window opens up where you can assign mods to a category.

Also, in the user interface if you have ADVANCED MODE turned on, is a nice orange button labeled CATEGORIES.

From the SUPPORT Section built into Vortex (If only people would read the manual...)

Categories: opens up the category management dialogue that enables you to rename, reorder, or add entirely new categories. Mod categories are meant to help you organise your mods. Mod categories are not to be confused with mod groups, which are in turn intended to resolve plugin conflicts in broader strokes than plugin specific rules.
