Nemesite Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Sorry if this is in the wrong area but....I am a rather annoying problem but i have no idea where it's coming from. I am running everything needed so please don't ask as it would imply i'm stupid... Now the problem i have is i can play, start a new game load..whatever but i walk around for about half an hour (real time) and i get sever stuttering and then ctd (sometimes i'm even lucky enough to quicksave!) I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything (i'm doing it for the 4th time this week right now in fact!) I'm seriously at my wits end. The "huge" mods i'm running are OOO Better cities and MMM most of my mods are armour and weapon related the only custom race i use is avariel (the only one worth using ;) ) I do use a few unique landscapes but i have all the fixes and patches. I have followed every load order instruction and looked up a few other peoples and mine is pretty much identical (they have more or something but order is still the same)I try to get OMOD files where possible (that's mainly because i'm lazy) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

People asking if you're running such and such are not implying anybody is stupid. In any case, since you say you've followed all of the proper instructions (and I assume that also means you applied all the compatibility patches with such major mods as Better Cities and OOO and the official and unofficial patches) then nobody is likely to be able to answer this for you without your complete load order list. It is a given, however, that we are going to have CTDs now and then. It seems to be the price we pay for running mods. Also, remember that the maximum amount you may load is 255. If you are over that you may want to consider switching out some of your weapon mods for an all encompassing one such as the Armamentarium. Good luck.
