HULKHOD3N
Ok so first of all, i'm fairly new to texture editing and such just so you know. So i have this wristwatch (Thanks Shiny Haxorous) and in some interiors (most of them not) the textures look nice and crisp, for example in the Institute main entrance. BUT Outside, no matter where, they look kind of muddy, unsharp, etc. Examples (please maximise the screenshots, it's clearly visible i think): https://imgur.com/a/0IgKZXA So i wonder why is that? I have diffuse and normal maps. Anyone know what's the problem here? Thanks for your time reading this! Cheers
dikr
Weird. I would test if it's a mod interfering. Something that changes environment settings / blur, etc. Like NAC or ENB's.
HULKHOD3N
Well, disabling ENB and NAC did nothing. I really don't know, maybe it's something in the material file but i did my best following tut's on it. It's just strange..
Shoneah0Tokala
I think it might have something to do with the "environment map", can't be certain but was having a strange issue when making custom eyes; in some areas they looked really matte, cartoon-like, and not very nice. Then when I step into exterior cells they'd shine like headlights.
HULKHOD3N
Yeah, i was thinking that to myself too. I tinkered around and ended up with creating a glowmap and the result is quite good now, everywhere. Plus it's a nice touch at nights.
