XFree Posted October 11, 2018 Share Posted October 11, 2018 Hi, I have tried Vortex today and able to install lot of mods without issues. New game isn't working so I take a savegame near the start. It worked every time. So I walk a little, save, leave : can't load my save. I tried again, walk, save, go to main screen, load, walk, save, go to main screen, load. All is ok. Then I tried to exit game, watch something, came back and can't load !!!! No error. No message. Only CTD. No explanation. Driving me mad. I can't start a game and don't close the game anymore. rmm200 Posted October 11, 2018 Share Posted October 11, 2018 Bring up Vortex, disable all mods and deploy.Does the game run OK?If so, enable a mod or two and try again.Keep doing this until the game fails.Get rid of the last mod you enabled.etc.Don't EVER drop a random pile of mods in and expect any game to work. XFree Posted October 12, 2018 Author Share Posted October 12, 2018 I was expecting this kind of answer. *sigh*. I'm just suprised by the fact I can load a savegame before exiting game but not after.
