willowwisp
I've never been a big lover of the original Oblivion music so recently I've downloaded a mod called Ultmate Musics Pack (can't find it on here anymore though for some reason :?) which adds new music to the game. I'm really liking it but I was wondering if I could add even more. I've seen many music mods that seem very promising but I'm wondering if this will overwrite/replace the new tracks I have now in some way or will the new tracks be simply added to them? Anyone knows? Adding music is very simple. Under your data folder, there's another folder called "music," which has several sub folders for sorting the game music out. It's very simple and easy to add music by adding mp3s to these subfolders. The game will take any mp3 you put in those sub folders.
willowwisp
So I can add or remove as many mp3s as I want? Awesome! Oh just another question... If, say, I wanted to release a music mod containing mp3s from other games (like the epic music of BG2 for example) would that break some rule of copyrights? I've seen mods with music from conan and other movies but still I'm not quite sure.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
The music from other games is copyrighted = such a mod would break the Nexus rules, also bethesda is against content teaken from other games, so they'd be rather anoyed as well ;D.
