BJTheGuru
Ok so about a week ago my gaming laptop crashed (literally to the floor and metaphorically), HDD was screwed. Anyways it appears that my backup of the 1.5.26.05 patch for skyrim was corrupted (apparently it didn't completely copy over to the external HDD) and my latest full HDD image didn't have Skyrim installed for some reason (I can only guess that I'd just done an uninstall before taking the image. So now I'm faced with a quandary, how to install Skyrim without going over to the game breaking version 1.6.89.0. If it were already installed all I'd have to do is make a copy of the files and disable updates using Skyrim Unplugged, alas not such luck. Advice?
