Mod not working after disabling them.

Hi,

I needed to disable my mods so I could get past the white screen after talking to Solas and basically followed this https://answers.ea.com/t5/Dragon-Age-Inquisition/White-Screen-after-song-quot-The-Dawn-will-Come-quot-and-talking/td-p/5609012 guideline. I could get past the white screen with this help, so thanks for that.

Here are the mods I use:

- Classic Cass

- HD Eye Textures Lore Friendly

- No Tattos for Elves

- Refined Josephine

Now I want to activate my mods again, but it doesn't work. I already deleted the Patch folder and commenced "repair" in Origins and afterwards merged the mods again.

I did need to change the version number in the package.mft data. I actually think that's where the problem lies?

Since I tried out a few things, my version number is 18 now and it needs to be this high, otherwise I cannot load it in the game (since it requires the same or higher version number)

Any other ideas on what to do?

I'm a little confused - are you saying that the mods won't load unless you have the version number at 18, or are you saying they won't load at all?

I usually don't do the version number thing to uninstall mods, I usually just re-run Mod Manager with an empty mod folder to create a default patch. Not that that helps you now that it's done...

With that said, for future reference, I have found that eye texture mods mess with the finding-Skyhold scene more than any other kind of mod. (Why? Who knows.) I would bet you if you just removed that mod for that part of the game, that you would not have any issues.

Do old saves (before the finding Skyhold scene) still load with the mods? If so, you could try removing the mods by merging an empty folder, then play through the finding-Skyhold scene again, and then re-merge.
