Georgiegril Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Bethblog link I just read this about hot loading in the 1.6.blahblah CK patch. Has anyone tried this, and was it successful? The thing they mention about possible game crashing has me a bit wary.
Perraine Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I've got to be honest and say it's probably a feature I'll never use. Skyrim loads in only a few seconds for me, so really it seems a bit pointless, and as you mention, with the possible instability issues, i can't see the point. However I'm sure there are modders out there that will welcome this feature.
Georgiegril Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 I would welcome it IF it worked and didn't crash my Skyrim or CK. I find myself going into the CK making 1 small change, then going into the game. I think if hot loading worked I could at least double my productivity. If it crashed my game, well.... Guess I'll wait on it for a bit.
Hangman4358 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 nice, something to try. Thought I usually work in the CK and then only go and see my changes at the end of my session and then make a list of things to fix next time I start with the CK.
