Pacifica94 Posted June 21, 2012 Share Posted June 21, 2012 Okay so this is my first post on a forum ever. Usually I just find what I need almighty Google but I have hit a wall for several days now. I am porting over Gordan Freeman's HEV suit from Half Life 2 (for my own use only)I have rigged it (or I think I have) using 3Ds Max skin tool to the vanilla upperbody.nif I have textured it using DDS filesI have exported it as a NIF via NIF importer / exporter plug in around 20 times with different settings and no luck.I cant get it to display in the render window of GECK when I create a new armour and select my mesh. There is no red square, just nothing like it is invisible. I open it in Nifscope and everything is there with the white biped lines, textures and all. It is driving me insane. I'm so close yet so far.When I turn off Export Skin Modifiers in the NIF export menu of Max it displays in GECK perfectly but Its not rigged and in game my character is just a floating head and hands when equipped. Also when I try to export other vanilla meshes after not doing anything to them, just importing the NIF and then exporting the NIF, it also wont display in GECK but it will display in NIfscope.
