NarraStan
I was playing earlier today, quit to do something, and when I reopened the game the "load" button was greyed out, only allowing a new save to be played. I have about 90 mods (I can list the load order if that would help) but neither turning them all off nor redownloading Skyrim lets it recognize the files. What should I do? CharrGazgre
Probably no saved game files. Did you delete them or misplaced them (like switching new hardware but forgot to copy your files or copied your game files in wrong folder?
NarraStan
The saves are in the Documents > My Games > Skyrim > Saves folder, and there are about 20 (four from one character, one from another, and the rest from my main). Here's a photo.
NarraStan
Okay, so, for anyone interested, I figured it out: my game, already 15 hours or so into my current session, for whatever reason, decided to save files and look for save files in a newly created folder in my normal saves folder (something like Documents > My Games > Skyrim > Saves > (random text) ). I have absolutely no clue why it did this, but I simply moved the files into that new folder, made a backup copy, and instantly showed up again.
