DeadMansDeeds
Hello I was wondering if anyone had experienced an issue like this before, my creation kit was working fine but recently it has started closing as as soon as it opens up. As in I can click the .exe it will open for a few seconds and simply close back down. I've tried running it from the bethnet launcher, re-validating the files, re-installing it, running as an admin, allowing it through firewall, all the usual custom ini's... I really don't know what caused this, my pc did a windows update not long before but I don't see how that would cause such a thing. This isn't the worst thing for me but I can't re-save my conversions to 44 now, or learn the ck properly as I intended. Either way, any ideas? Thanks for any help :)
JonathanOstrus
Did you install any DLL mods recently? ENB? CKFixes? Etc. Or even if you didn't install any recently, did you try removing any you had installed previously, like ENB? I've had rare cases where my CreationKitPrefs.ini got messed up and needed to be deleted. You might try that. Or even just moving all the CreationKit ini files out temporarily to see if that changes anything.
DeadMansDeeds
The only one was SKSE, I tried removing it and it closes same as before. So confusing. Edit: So I started disabling a few of the mods I was looking to test/mess around with in ck, bear in mind I had no reason to do this before as they are just generally armours no dll's or tools, and for some reason after disabling just a few it started working. No idea why they prevented it but oh well... Although it was a few I think it simply must have been uninstalling Historic Revival that did it. Not really sure why.
