Crash when starting a new game

I recently wanted to restart my game, and after deleting my saves, i went to start a new game, but after loading, it only gave me a black screen and i couldn't do anything except restart my computer. i had thought it was a few mods i downloaded just before restarting, but even after deleting them it still crashed with a black screen. so i uninstalled all my mods, and then it worked, so i reinstalled my mods except for Live Another Life as i thought that may have been the problem, but it still crashes with the black screen. after looking up multiple things and trying to find something that may help, i gave up and came here to see if anyone could help
