Proximitus
So I started a new game and I was planning on playing it entirely in Third Person, so that I can enjoy my armor and stuff. Now, the vanilla Third person view sucks, so I was wondering if someone could give me a link to the best mod for this? Tried a view, but they didn't entirely fit.. I'm looking for a third person over the shoulder kind of mod
Gribbleshnibit8
How 'over the shoulder' do you want it to be? Are you looking for a GoW type experience, where the camera practically sits on the characters shoulders, or do you want a more Mass Effect type feel, where the camera floats more behind the player? Here's one mod, and here's a more configurable one. Try searching Nexus for "camera" as both a title search term and a description search term in the advanced search. I'd post links to my searches, but Nexus doesn't have url based searching, so....yeah.
Proximitus
Yeah, I tried both and I have one now that's pretty decent, but not perfect! I also played New Vegas and the Third Person camera that is used in that game is perfect, Very accurate! So I was wondering if it is possible to somehow convert that camera to fallout 3? Gribbleshnibit8
Are you referring to the vanilla camera, or a mod added one? If it's a mod added camera, then you can load the mod in FNVEdit, go to the header info for the mod, and change the FalloutNV.esm to say Fallout3.esm. Close and then copy the file to the Fallout 3 Data folder and it should work, though loading it with FO3Edit to be sure is a good idea. The other option is to open FNV in GECK. Go to the Game Settings (gameplay menu) and find all the entries associated with "fOverShoulder". Just edit them, then change the value back. Once you've gotten all of them, just save it as a plugin, then do what I said above to convert it to a FO3 mod.
