Darnified UI causing CTD

I've isolated the CTD to Darnified, and it happens as soon as I launch the game. I couldn't find any threads on this issue, so I wanted to see if anyone knew about this issue. My only thought is that I installed it with Vortex, and that caused a problem by missing a modular installer or something. I'll play without it if I have to, but if anyone knows what's up that would be cool. I'd try to fix it myself, but I'm no mod sleuth.

Don't know if you used the OMOD version, or if Vortex even understands ".omod" files, or the 7z Archive, but in any case it's advisable to confirm all files went where they should be.

Usually a CTD right after the Bethesda logo video means a "missing master", a plugin of your's is requiring another plugin or masterfile, which is either missing entirely or loading after the one requiring it in your load order.

But as this is a UI mod and Darnified doesn't even have an ESP (far as I can see), the second usual cause is a missing "font file", which Darnified definitely provides and uses. So put extra care into verifying those are where they're meant to be, too.

And in general heed note to the install instructions. This mod isn't fit to be installed by any other managers or in any other ways as the ones officially supported/mentioned on its page.

Vortex indeed does not understand OMODs, and it has definitely caused problems. I was actually considering just switching to Oblivion Mod Manager because there's a couple other files with the same issue. I'll give that a try, thank you. :D
